Occupation/Career |
I had a career in the Meteorological Office mainly serving at Heathrow Airport, where I met my husband David, until I moved 'north' after our marriage in 1963 to a newly built house in Orchard Way. I have had an assortment of jobs since then, to fit in with bringing up our son and daughter. These include Horticulture, Market Research and teaching computer skills to older people. |

My main interests lie in Gardening and Handicrafts. I spent 40 plus years helping my husband with his Scouting activities (he started Sea Scouting in Cogenhoe). |

I have served on the Parish Council since 1984 apart from a 3-year break when David's occupation sent him to Hong Kong. |
